Nelson McCoy Pottery Planter Blue Leaf & Flower Design

GAR-24  Circa 1930's Nelson McCoy planter in leaf & flower design.  This is an early unmarked piece with a cornflower blue wash glaze that highlights the relief design on the planter.  Planter measures 4-3/8" H x 5-3/8" W.  The base measures 3-1/4" W.  This planter has been packed away in a garage for many years.  We recommend washing the planter before use.
CONDITION:  This old planter has crazing throughout the glaze.  There is discoloration on the glaze in the interior of the planter.  There are the typical manufacturing defect clay bubbles and pops throughout the planter's leaf & flower design. There is a small patch of missing glaze along the rim opening and in several areas along the base as documented in the listing photos. The base rim has some choppy areas and there are three tripod marks from the kiln.
